This is my brother’s ’72 Dodge Demon. His name is Matt
Dirt, son of Joe Dirt. He don’t drive a show car- she’s a street fighter.
This model was converted from a ’71 AMT Duster with the
real car’s likenesses.
Exterior
- Body Painted semi-gloss black, sanded, spot polished and weathered
- Duster hood sanded flat
- Hood drilled for aftermarket snorkel scoop
- Hood pins added
- Grille modified
- Aftermarket Demon decals and graphics
- Vinyl top
- Chrome- Bare Metal Foil
- Aluminum exhaust cut after mufflers and hung with coat hangers
- Antennae base added
- Mounting holes drilled for "Demon" emblems
- Custom "Mat Dirt" vanity plates
- Rallye wheels with large center caps from ’75 Duster
- Rot and body damage simulated
- Detailed with paint and pastels
Engine Bay
- Modified 340 with spilled fluids, blue RTV and exhaust leaks
- Kit’s box stock power steering assembly eliminated
- Parts box belts and pulleys
- Dodge valve covers

Interior
- Front and rear vinyl bench seats from Johan police cruiser
- Front is a fold-down
- Black T-shirt over passenger seat covers rips
- Flocked carpet
- Dash from ’75 Duster
- Pistol grip shifter from ’70 Challenger modified to be in gear
- Sun Pro gauges under dash
- Detailed with paint and pastels
