Great Show!!

Thanks to all who participated in our 2008 Model Car Exhibition. The show was a great success, as we welcomed back old friends and met many new ones.

We extend special thanks to all of our sponsors, vendors, members, attendees, and the great staff at the Holiday Inn in Taunton for making another fun and successful event happen.

Read more about the event and see show pics here.

Our next show will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2009.

************************

MassCar will now be holding special Saturday meetings. We are hoping that by having Saturday meetings periodically that people who can't make it to our regular Wednesday night meetings will be able to attend.

These Saturday meetings will be all about the fun of the hobby, where attendees can build models, swap tips and techniques, learn from their fellow builders, and just have a good time.  Future meetings will most likely be on the second Saturday of each month.

All are invited to attend, so spread the word!

2008 dates are on our Meetings page.

Funnies

A few days ago I was having some work done at the local Ford Dealership. A blonde came in and asked for a seven-hundred-ten.

We all looked at each other and another customer asked, "What is a seven-hundred-ten?"

She replied, "You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine, I have lost it and need a new one." She said that she did not know what it was but this piece had always been there.

He gave her a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked like. She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710. He then took her over to another car, which had its hood up and asked, "Is there a 710 on this car?"

She pointed and said, "Of course, it's right "there." (click link)
