What do you usually build? 1950's American Iron, 1960's Muscle, Figure kits

Where do you usually build? In my room (model room)

How many built models do you have? 20

Do you ever take built models and run them around on the table or floor making "Vroom, vroom" noises? In my younger days

How many unbuilt models do you have? Too many to list (over 350)

What are your favourite 3 models you have built? Monogram 1958 Thunderbird, Dodge Deora (AMT), Silhouette (AMT)

Have you ever won an award for building a model? Yes

Are you bitter about it? Never, it's just a symbol. I give these things away.

Did you take your medication today? The wine was good--if that's what you're referring to.

What 3 models should win an all time kit of the century award? AMT '57 Chrysler 300, Johan Chrysler Turbine Car, Monogram - Any of the classic cars: Cord, Rolls Royce, Deusenberg, etc.

What 3 models are so horrible that you would buy them just to protect others from having to build them? Lindburg 1947 Lincoln, Lindburg 1935 Auburn, Lindburg Cord

What do you drive now? 1984 Buick Wagon (daily driver), 1967 Barracuda (fun car)

Are you bitter about it? No, I love it!!!

Are you saving your pennies for something fun to drive? Only to bring them up to my standards

 

With an unlimited budget, what 10 full size cars would you have in your garage? 1964 Studebaker Avanti, Hudson Italia, 1957 Chrysler 300C, Ferrari 264 GT, 197 Studebaker Golden Hawk, Alfa Romeo Bat (one of them)

What (if any) person (living or dead) in the 1:1 automotive world would you like to meet? Virgel Exner

Do you go to car shows? Yes

Do you go because Tony makes you? Leave Tony out of it! He's doing what's best for you! Have fun or be bored!!

What are your favourite car shows and why? Mopar Vernon show (laid back mopars galore), Chryslers at Carlyle, PA (excellent event)

Do you have kids? No--I'm the kid!!

If yes, how many and what are their ages? I have nephews, one who builds

Do you build models with them? I build with Stefano - you know!!

Would you like a medal? Not necessary. I earn it every year at the end of the MassCar event.

Essay question: What else should you tell us? Us, as modelers, are setting an example for the young, since they look up to us for guidance, don't let these kids down - theyl'll be carrying on this worthwhile hobby after we are long gone. Remember, when you play a video game you score points. When you show someone the benefits of model building, you score points with them by showing them what patience, craftsmanship, and creativity can accomplish--plus the end result, a beautifully constructed model!!
