Art LaLama

Art Lalama has been building scale models for over 40 years; cars, military figures, doll’s house miniatures, planes, slot cars and more. He is one of MassCar’s founding members and has belonged to other miniature related clubs as well.

Art also collects diecast cars. Among his favorites are classic Bugatti automobiles and vintage American sprint cars and midget racers.

Current building projects include; a stripped down 1928 Packard speedster roadster; a 1928 Bugatti Type 35 “Targa Florio”; a mostly scratchbuit 1950s midget racecar and a 1937 Ford pickup for the “In Your Face” club contest.
